AL-MAQĀṢID: The International Journal of Maqāṣid Studies and Advanced Islamic Research (E-ISSN: 2735-1149) is dedicated to advancing scholarly discourse on uṣūl al-fiqh, qawāʿid al-fiqhiyyah, and maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, and their application across the social sciences and humanities.
The journal's scope includes, but is not limited to:
- Theoretical and conceptual frameworks of uṣūl al-fiqh, qawāʿid al-fiqhiyyah, and maqāṣid studies
- Historical development and contemporary evolution of maqāṣid al-sharīʿah
- Application of maqāṣid reasoning to emerging issues in law, health, technology, environment, and society
- Critical studies and translations of major classical and contemporary works in the field
- Interdisciplinary and comparative approaches connecting Islamic legal theory with the social sciences
AL-MAQĀṢID publishes original research articles, review articles, case studies, and commentaries, and welcomes submissions from scholars worldwide.
